ABOUT US

Was choosing Olympia Fields for the 2003 US Open a mistake?

Yes! To say that Olympia Fields saved its reputation by playing tougher on the weekend is to overlook the most important weapon the USGA has in setting up an Open championship course -- the pressure of playing in the event.

No! There's no reason why the USGA should make life difficult for the pros by providing them 18 holes of miserable golf like at BethPage in 2002!
